New Patron in Chief - 25 November 2014
We are delighted to announce that the APMP has a new Patron in Chief. The former Chief of the Australian Defence Force and now Governor of NSW, His Excellency General The Honourable David Hurly AC DSC (Ret'd) has agreed to take up this role. His Excellency is a former Australian Peacekeeper having commanded the IRAR Battalion Group in Somalia in 1993. He has been a long term supporter of the need to build a national Memorial to Australian Peacekeeping. We are greatly honoured by his Patronage.
